​I rang the bell three times, but after receiving no response, I unlocked the front door with my key. A note was neatly kept on the dining table in Leela's handwriting, stating that she was out buying vegetables and would come home soon. I ascended the stairs to our room to freshen up, but when I tried the bathroom door, it was locked. After numerous attempts and a growing sense of unease, I took out the master key from our bedside table and opened it.
